Job Opportunity – RYA Powerboat and PWC Instructor

  • Salary – £22,500 – £26,500 depending on experience.
  • Benefits – 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays.
  • Southampton based.

Ocean Sports Tuition specialises in RYA Powerboat and Motor Cruising training, and has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Powerboat and PWC Instructor to join our friendly team.

This position will be well suited for an individual who is looking to develop a full-time career in the water sports industry.

The working week will be 5 days per week to include weekends.

Key responsibilities will include the delivery of:

  • Teaching RYA Powerboat training.
  • Teaching PWC courses.
  • Assistance in leading a small team of freelance instructors.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven history in face-to-face customer service.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Minimum qualifications required:

  • RYA Powerboat level 2 instructor.
  • RYA PWC proficiency.
  • Driving licence.

Available training development will include:

  • RYA Day Skipper Theory.
  • RYA Intermediate Powerboat.
  • RYA Advanced Powerboat.
  • RYA MCA Advanced Powerboat prep and exam.
  • RYA Advanced Powerboat instructor.
  • RYA TIC.
  • RYA Specialist shore-based instructor.
