RYA VHF Radio Licence Online Course
The RYA VHF Radio Course is the minimum qualification required by law to control a boat in the UK. Upon successful completion of this course you will gain your VHF marine radio licence, this is issued by the RYA on behalf of the MCA. You now have two ways to complete the RYA VHF Radio Course – at your leisure online or face-to-face at our training centre in Southampton.
The online format allows you to take the course at your own pace, using training videos and interactive sessions. You can spread the training over a number of day, weeks or even months if you wish. This 8 hour training course is then followed by a face-to-face assessment at our classroom with an RYA VHF Assessor.
