The coastlines of the UK have so much to offer. But with so many marinas, rivers and creeks to choose from, its hard to know where to start. Many have their own quirks, and navigating them without the proper training can be daunting. Our Powerboat Level 2 Course provides you with the skillset to confidently skipper a powerboat by day. Importantly, with a minimum age of just 12 years old, it is also the ideal way to teach children to safely pilot a powered vessel, developing an understanding of boat handling and the dangers at sea.

We also offer discounts for weekend group bookings, making this the perfect opportunity to prepare the whole family for a summer on the water. Alternatively, we’re always happy to facilitate customers looking for a more personalised service. This is why we offer both 1-1 private sessions and own boat tuition options.
By attending our Powerboat Level 2 Course in Southampton on your own vessel, our experienced instructors can help you gain the most from your training and become confident and comfortable at sea. Learning on board your own boat allows our instructors to tailor the course. As a result, the course can be made specific to the vessel that you will be using day-to-day. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned powerboater looking to enter the RYA scheme, the Powerboat Level 2 Course provides a solid platform to develop the skills required to make the most of your time afloat. And with the inclusion of a free ICC Assessment, you’ll have all the tools you need whether your destination is the English coast or European waters.
