By the end of the RYA PWC Proficiency Course, you will be self-sufficient in riding your jetski in good conditions, with a basic understanding of slow and high speed manoeuvres, safety measures and capsize recovery.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This course is suitable for all students over the age of 12 years old with no previous PWC or boating experience. The RYA PWC Proficiency Course for jetskis is a 1-day introduction to the safe handling of a jetski.
Anyone over the age of 12 can take part, and our qualified instructors are dedicated to ensuring that each student gets the most out of this one-day training course, including the opportunity to work on a 1-2-1 basis with an instructor.
Students under 16 will have their certificates approved under the following conditions: “To be under supervision of a responsible adult” and will be capable of riding under adult supervision.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The course content is a great practical introduction to jet skiing handling and safety. By the end of the one-day course you will be able to safely launch and recover a jetski, and feel confident completing high and low speed manoeuvres.

OUTLINE COURSE CONTENT
WHAT DOES THE COURSE COST?
The RYA PWC Proficiency Course cost is £269 per person. This course will be taught in a group, with a maximum group size of 6 students on 3 jetskis. For the duration of the course, you will have the opportunity to work on a 1-2-1 basis with an instructor.
If you would like the opportunity to be taught the course on your own personal water craft, the price of tuition is £259.
