Ocean Sports Josh Treacher

BIOGRAPHY

Josh started sailing at age of 10, in his Topper at Stokes Bay sailing club and taking part in the cadets.

Soon after taking an interest in kitesurfing, got a power kite and mountain board.

Once mastered on land he moved to water an learnt to kitesurf by the age of 12.

Going on to compete in the Junior British kitesurfing championships placing 2nd overall in 2004.

Gaining his first instructor qualification in kitesurfing at the age of 18.

Started teaching at centres in the UK, as well as coaching on trips to Tarifa in southern Spain and Dakhla in Western Sahara both renowned for their windsurfing and kitesurfing.

In 2010 Josh did his Dinghy Instructor on the Isle of Wight which lead to him becoming a multi activity Instructor teaching Sailing , SUP, Kayak, Powerboating, Climbing and Archery.

With 10 years teaching experience.

Josh is looking forward to a change and bringing in 2020 with Ocean Sports Tuition.
