Who are the RYA  and what do they do?

To be exact the Royal Yachting Association (RYA for short) is the national governing body for boating, they are here to promote safe, successful and rewarding British boating.

The RYA recognise over 2500 training centres world wide, of which Ocean Sports Tuition is one of these recognised centres. This means that these training centres have been inspected and are certified to offer RYA recognised practical and theory training courses.

Ocean Sports Tuition is recognised to offer, RYA practical Powerboat courses, including the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course through to the RYA Advanced Powerboat course as well as the RYA MCA Advanced Powerboat certificate of competency training and exam. Ocean Sports Tuition also offer, the more specialist  RYA one day theory courses like the RYA Sea Survival course through to the five day RYA Yachtmaster offshore theory course.
